Looking north, Weir to Wablurg -
36" x 24", 1988, Sold
This is a parcel of land that we once owned with the dream of someday building a house there. I used to take my paints and canvas out there to paint from site and relax outdoors. When it came time to sell the land, the surveyor was at my house and recognized this as the site of the job. He liked it so much that he accepted this painting as trade for part of the bill. It hangs in his building, and that is a historic building, low ceiling, brick frontier town structure, like the classic jail in old westerns, in Round Rock, Texas.'
