I went to the campout to make some paint notes for future reference. I used masking tape to create an outline such as if you made a square on a piece of paper and drew inside it. The approach was to make some quick observation notes and use the oil paint to look like a watercolor. I did this because I knew I would be painting this scene again on a larger scale. The study was really for myself to observe and try a few things such as the masking.
