This painting is of the middle fork of the San Gabriel River located in Georgetown Texas. It is also the site of the third oldest country club in the US, founded west of the Mississippi River, establised in 1927. It is a picturesque canyon with a river running thru it and a natural habitat for cranes, bluebirds, deer, foxes, bobcats, snakes, ducks, fish, and golfers; to name a few species that share a beautiful but small location.
