Garey Ranch 1994 - b
Left canvas of triptych, 48" x 36", 1994, Sold
The original piece was three 4'x3' canvas' depicting a valley near Georgetown, Txs. I was having trouble with my shoulder and had to slow down and rehab with physical therapy. I was in the middle of this piece at the time so I completed the right and center paintings and took them to the gallery to hang. In the meantime I retuned to the studio to complete and then deliver the left canvas. During that time the center canvas sold by itself before I could deliver and hang the completed piece. It never hung together as planned. It would have been over 12' wide in the three paintings of 4'x3'. The left canvas sold by itself shortly after being hung at the gallery, leaving the right canvas which I repainted and is on public display at the Georgetown Medical Center.
